BioHello.
I'm Kev, a regular common house mouse to you but in truth I'm specially bred for the job of lab guinea pig...
I'm pretty average, 30g, 17 cm long with my tail being just about nine of those. I’m white, pink eyes, reasonably attractive with seven brothers and sisters who live in a cage down the bench.
This livejournal is a small window into this, the life of an ill fated rodent doomed to die alone and forgotten in the dark recesses of some pharmaceutical company somewhere in the world. In these, my last months, my living epitaphs will be recorded as I shall have no one to remember me when I die.
Each day brings more gruelling torments - starvation, drugs, pain, suffering and punishment. My friends have been stripped from me one by one - but you will hear more of that later. In the meantime I ask you to open your mind and open your heart to the words I have to say - and hopefully someone will learn through my plight.
